Rome, November 19, 2011. This morning EveryOne Group received a desperate appeal from the families of some Eritrean refugees who are still in the hands of one of the most notorious traffickers in Northern Sinai. "His name is Abu Musa, known as 'Samih', and he is the eldest son of a family of ruthless traffickers in human beings and organs, "explain Roberto Malini, Matteo Pegoraro and Dario Picciau, co-presidents of EveryOne Group.

”EveryOne has launched an urgent appeal to the authorities asking them to free the prisoners and arrest the trafficker. "We have sent the authorities all the details for reaching the gang's hideout, as well as providing them with a telephone number for contacting the prisoners and a complete list of the names of the refugees being held in chains by the trafficker. We have also alerted the authorities that there are four armed guards patrolling day and night outside the hideout, and there are four hiding-places near the buildings in which the head traffickers could have taken refuge in order to escape capture. Along with Abu Abdallah and Abu Khaled, Abu Musa is one of the most active and ruthless masters of the criminal slave trade and human organs trafficking. He must be apprehended and brought before an Egyptian court or the International Criminal Court, where he will have to answer to the serious charge of crimes against humanity.
"According to the list supplied by Everyone, some of the prisoners are minors. After CNN yesterday published a second report about the prisoners in the Sinai, and after the Arab newspapers have taken up the news, reporting the atrocities of the bands of robbers and the plight of the refugees, today the police and Bedouin security services attacked a hideout of slave smugglers in Northern Sinai. According to the first reports, in addition to the traffickers, some hostages were also killed in the crossfire.
